RecoveryTools · Backup software for QQ.com mailboxes
Copy every QQ Mail folder onto your own computer. Keep messages as PST, PDF, EML or MBOX files, or send them straight into Outlook, Gmail or Office 365.
No credit card and no sign-up. Run a folder or two, open what comes out and pay only if it suits you.

Two Minutes Of Setup First
Tencent turns down your QQ password in desktop email apps. QQ Mail hands out an authorization code for them instead, and you can create yours from QQ Mail settings in a browser.
Sign in at mail.qq.com and open Settings, then Account. Scroll to the POP3/IMAP/SMTP block and turn the IMAP/SMTP service on.
QQ Mail asks you to send a short text message from the phone on your account. Once it checks out, a 16 character authorization code appears. Copy it before you close that window.
In our tool, pick QQ.com from Email Source. Type your full QQ address, then paste that code into Password. Ports and server names are already in place.
Still blocked at login? Make sure the IMAP service shows as on, that what you pasted is the code and not your QQ password, and that no stray space came along with it.
One Screen At A Time
Every screen here belongs to RecoveryTools Email Backup Wizard, the program behind the download button above. QQ.com sits in its source list with 90 other mail services.

Type qq into the search box above Email Source and click the QQ.com entry. Login then wants two things only: your QQ address and the code you just made.

Your QQ mailbox opens as a tree once login goes through. Tick what matters, say what it should turn into and point it at a folder.

A QQ account you have held since school can hold tens of thousands of messages. Ask for one year, one contact or one subject and the rest stays on Tencent servers.
Nothing Quietly Dropped
A copy that loses its attachments or its dates is barely a copy. Each QQ message lands with its wording, its details and its folder around it.
Three Jobs, One Licence
Park QQ mail on a drive you own, open it in a desktop email app or push it into a fresh account. The same licence covers all three.
PST lands in Outlook, PDF prints and reads anywhere, and EML, MSG or MBOX open in most mail apps. DOC, RTF and TXT work for paperwork, while CSV gives you a sheet of senders, subjects and dates.
Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail, Lotus Notes and Zimbra each have their own option, so output arrives ready to open. OLM covers Outlook on a Mac.
Moving off QQ? Send your mail into Gmail, Office 365, Outlook.com, Yahoo Mail or any IMAP host, folders and all, without a file stopping in the middle.
Want a slice rather than the whole message? Extract options save attachments, email addresses or phone numbers on their own.
Made For Crowded QQ Mailboxes
Clicking save on five messages in webmail is fine. Once it is years of QQ mail, or a handful of accounts, these are the parts that carry the load.
Put each QQ address and its authorization code on a line in one CSV file. Load that file and the tool works down the list, so you log in once instead of ten times.
Run one takes everything you ticked. Tick Incremental Backup for run two and only fresh mail is added, which keeps your archive free of second copies.
Name a date range, a sender, a recipient, a subject or words to hunt for. Folders can be skipped, attachments left out and the Sent folder run on its own.
Scheduler starts a QQ backup daily, weekly or monthly at an hour you set. It needs an Enterprise licence, though the free trial lets you try it first.
Mail moves from Tencent to your machine and stops nowhere else. Where an office or campus network blocks that, Use Proxy routes the connection instead.
Ten naming patterns mix subject, sender and date in different orders. Months later, that is the difference between a quick search and a long scroll.
From Install To Saved Mail
Nothing to script and no ports to look up. With your code copied, a first QQ backup runs inside the free trial in a few minutes.
Open QQ Mail settings, switch the IMAP service on and generate a code. Step three needs it.
Install Email Backup Wizard and start it. Find QQ.com in the Email Source list on the left.
Type your full QQ address. Paste the authorization code into Password, then click Login.
The QQ mailbox arrives as a tree. Leave the folders you want ticked and clear the others.
Pick PST, PDF, EML, MBOX or an account to move into, choose where files go and add filters.
Folders run one after another. At the end, open the output folder and read the log report.
By Hand Or By Tool
Doing it by hand is free, and for a dozen emails that is the sensible route. Beyond that, this is what a $99 licence takes off your plate.
Before You Install
Asked Before The First Run
Switch the IMAP service on in QQ Mail settings and generate an authorization code. Open Email Backup Wizard, pick QQ.com, log in with your address and that code, tick your folders, choose PST, PDF, EML or MBOX and press Backup.
Tencent does not accept QQ passwords over IMAP. The Password box wants your authorization code instead. Your usual password still signs you in at mail.qq.com.
QQ Mail reads mail from imap.qq.com on port 993 with SSL. The QQ.com entry sets that for you, so you only type it out when another email app asks.
Yes. A foxmail.com address is a QQ Mail account under another name, so the QQ.com entry and the same authorization code cover it.
Yes. Tencent (腾讯) runs QQ Mail, so QQ mail backup and Tencent mail backup mean the same job here. Your address may end in qq.com, vip.qq.com or foxmail.com.
Choose PST as the saving option and run the backup. In Outlook, go to File, Open & Export and open that PST. Your QQ folders sit there with their messages inside.
Yes. Pick Gmail as the saving option and sign in to that account. Mail travels from Tencent to Google directly, and QQ folders turn into Gmail labels.
Yes. Tick Use Batch Mode at login and load a CSV file holding each QQ address with its own authorization code. One run covers the lot.
Yes. Attachments stay with their message, and folders with their subfolders keep the names you gave them in QQ Mail. Sender, recipients and dates come too.
Yes. Download for Mac at the top of this page gives you a separate Mac edition. It reaches QQ Mail over IMAP with the same authorization code.
A full licence is $99. The free trial saves 25 emails per folder with every other step unlocked, so you judge real output from your own QQ mailbox first.
Login refusing you, or unsure which saving option suits the job? Our support team can go through your QQ account with you on live chat.
Generate your code, run a couple of QQ folders through the free trial and open the files it writes. Buy when the output convinces you.
