How to Use Kerio Migrator ?

Follow the steps to understand the Kerio connect migration tool

STEP 1

Download, install and run the Kerio Migrator, click on next button.

STEP 2

Click on ‘Select Folders’ or ‘Select Files’ option to browse the Kerio folders/files.

STEP 3

This pop-up window will let you choose batch migration / one by one migration option. By clicking on the check box ‘I am converting multiple users’ will enable batch mode. Once done with the option, click on ‘Select Mailbox Folder’ button.

STEP 4

Browse the Kerio user mailbox folder. In case of batch migration, select the root folder containing all the user mailbox box folders.

STEP 5

Click on next button.

STEP 6

Select desired user mailbox or folders to migrate and click on Next button.

STEP 7

Here you will get option to select the destination file or email server format. You can select the desired option to migrate the selected users/folders in the previous step. You will get option to enter credentials, file naming options etc according to the destination format you select. In the image below spot number one is the drop down box which will show all the migration/backup options and spot number 2 will let you change the destination format in case you are backing up to a file format.

STEP 8

The program let you backup/migrate Kerio mailboxes to various files and email formats which are shown in the below image.

Note: The available options vary in various license versions. The information is available on the buy page of the program.

STEP 9

Once you select the desired destination, click on Convert button to start the backup/migration. Below image shows the Kerio to Gmail migration example.

STEP 10

After the migration/backup completes, the program will show you the detailed Saving Log file. All the selected folders and contents will be added to the destination.
